This is a very unique fish cracker I’ve seen maybe because of the packaging with a picture of sweet and sour red perch. This is one of my favorite dish so when I saw it on a grocery shelf, I hurriedly bought it. Thinking that it will taste like my favorite dish I’m excited to taste it. But I didn’t expect that it will be very spicy in my taste buds. Maybe those who like spicy food will enjoy this. Anyway it taste is similar to a sweet and sour fish with the fishy taste. It still passed my taste and I consider it a good buy and I really like the packaging design.

Just seeing the size of this shrimp crackers and the packaging design makes you think that it’s good to eat. Yes, when I tasted it sure is delicious and not spicy. You can eat a large quantity without getting fed up of the taste. Again, this is a great companion while watching TV or movie and since it is larger than the average shrimp crackers, it will take longer before you to ran out of it.

I think this cracker nuts need no more introductions because this has been a legend and a pioneer cracker nuts here in the Philippines. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe there were already cracker nuts here since the Spanish regime but this one have been one of my favorites since childhood. During childhood days I was always in my uncle’s grocery store and I see this cracker nuts every time and munch on them whenever I have a chance of getting one. It’s alright with my uncle because I’m treated like his own son and besides, the store is also owned by my father ( he is a part owner). Anyway about the nuts, the crunchy crispy taste is excellent and the crispy peanut inside is better that any other cracker nuts I’ve tasted. The salty flavoring is tolerable and it is the taste why it became popular.

The package says “made with real fresh eggs”. I guess it’s true because it does taste like egg cookie that is why it is called an eggnog. It is tasty indeed because when I was just opening our fridge where I put this stuff and to my surprise my daughter is already munching the eggnogs. Great for snacks, watching TV or movies and its more healthier than salty and spicy chips. This is good too if you are having tea of coffee.

This is one of the tasty baked goodies and snack I know so far. To describe it more accurately, it’s a drop cookie dome shaped on top and colored white. The taste is sweet and very similar to egg drop. Locally it is called ‘Pasencia’ which I think means ‘be patient’. I don’t know why it’s called with that name, I guess it takes too long to bake the stuff and you have to be patient to taste it.
