This one is one of my favorite. I think this can’t be considered as junk food because its more of a bread than a cookie or a biscuit. But since its ready to eat, then it might as well be under that category. To describe this snack, it’s very similar to the unleavened bread eaten by people in the Middle East. But the only difference is its harder and flaky, very close to a pie with muscovado sugar filling inside. Muscovado is raw sugar very close to molasses but lighter in texture and color. The shape is usually 4 inches in diameter and ¼ inch thick. This is one of the finest delicacy from Bacolod province here in the Philippines and all natural ingredients so it’s a healthy snack.

Sorry for the long slumber. I’ve been hibernating for more than a half a year now because of being very busy and refraining eating too much junk food. Anyway like most of the wine manufacturer say to their product “drink moderately” with regards to junk food we should also “eat moderately”. Without junk food, I think life will be boring. Anyway this is one of the latest cookie products of Monde Nissin Corporation.

Just like the package says, “Natural Flavor! Appetizingly Delicious!”. I agree because the watermelon seeds are of good quality. Not too hard or too salty unlike other products that’s hard to remove the kernel from the husk. Its easier to split the seeds in half. The size is average and the kernel is not dry and tastes good also. Unlike some low quality seeds that seems to be bigger but the kernel is dried up or shriveled and sometimes has a foul taste.

This snack is not ready to eat. You have to fry it first in hot oil to pop those crackers. Here’s how to cook it: Heat oil into pan to high temperature. Submerge Fry & Pop pellets in oil and wait till they expand, drain the excess oil. Season with salt or spices to suit your taste.

This snack has been in the market for years and one of my favorite because of its unique taste and crispiness. It’s not a potato chip but it taste like one, It’s not French fries but it also taste like one. I don’t drink but I’ve tried beer sometimes and I think this is a perfect match to beer if you don’t have a ‘pulutan’ (food served when drinking) . Another thing why I like this stuff is because it’s not fried, it’s baked so it is healthier than any other processed snacks.

Here’s another version of link building for bloggers to improve Google PR. I got it from Anitokid. This is I think is much better because it has a anchor text linking to your site instead of the asterisk (*) linking to you. Just follow the instructions below and use your MS Word to copy the portion beginning “Copy and Paste below this line” and ending on “Copy and Paste from Above this line” then copy again from your MSWord to your wordpress or blogger.com visual editor and your done!

Another innovation of link building for blogs. I got this info from Anitokid. This is quite unique because the only text link or anchor links are dots. I’m sure this will work because unlike other link building I’ve tried before, this one is very simple and straightforward. All you have to do is highlight or select all and copy the portion below beginning with the red text and end with the red text. Then open up your MS word program and paste it. Then copy it again to your Wordpress visual editor or blogger.com editor. I hope my instruction is clear but if it seems complicated you can visit andy coates website. Just copy below beginning with the red text and paste it in your post. Read the rest of this entry »

Consume immediately after opening because it might affect crispiness. Anyway this is a good substitute to a toasted French bread with garlic butter. The taste is very similar and the shape also but it is so tiny compared with the French bread. Perfect snack for any occasions.

“Enjoy Popperoo Candy Popcorn immediately after opening. Prolonged exposure to open air may affect crispiness.” This is the note at the back of the package. Yes it will definitely affect the quality so better consume it immediately after opening. A kind of popcorn with caramel coating which is suited to watching TV if you are a couch potato or watching movies.

As much as I don’t like to make a not so nice comment, this version of watermelon seed is average. The seeds are not too big or too small. Just right if you are not a picky eater.
