Oishi has a new kind of snack. Maybe it’s not so new and been available months ago but it’s only today I saw this new product. The snack was prawn pumpkin chips. This suppose to have pumpkins or squash as the main ingredient. I was just wondering if pumpkins grow here in the Philippines or just a mistake calling squash as pumpkin. When I open the pack I thought the chips is similar to potato chips but it was not. I looks like prawn crackers because of its thickness and color. And with regards to the taste, I can’t tell the difference between prawn and squash. If you like squash, I think you will love it. By the way, at the back of the packaging I saw this: “ Product developed in support of the Inter Agency Group (IAG) Project on veggie-enriched snacks”.
Lemon Square – Inipit – Ube Pastillas de Leche
This snack is actually a baked native delicacies snacks. To describe it, it is very similar to thin cake slices sandwiched with cream filling. And because of some creativity it is now repacked and you can buy it now on most supermarkets ready to eat and with a longer shelf life. Contrary to those “inipit” [...]

Jack n Jill – Quake Overload
First I’ll describe the features of this snack. It’s choco coated mocha butter cake with mocha cream filling. This is one of the favorite snacks of my family because of its taste. For me it’s quite OK because it’s not too sweet compared with other chocolate covered cup cakes or butter cakes. The chocolate coating [...]

e-aji TRIOS – 3 Flavors in 1 Snack
What attracts me to this snack is the new-look packaging design. Looks better on the actual product than the picture I got because I shot it inside the kitchen. The design is also attractive with the three animated stars on this package, the shrimp, the onion and the garlic. I was really curious if will taste as good as it looks so I threw one in the basket when I was in Parco supermarket. Just like the packaging at the back say, “Triple in Taste and Triple in Fun” and the taste compliments each other. I only bought a small 25 gram pack and thought to myself that this will be another of those kropeck snack. But when I opened and poured the contents in a bowl, what I saw is the colors were attractive and appetizing too. I’m also not disappointed with the taste. This is really a good try.

Contrary to those “inipit” sold in bakeshops, this is more hygienic because it is conveniently packed and sealed. As long as the production is also hygienic, we can assure that the product is clean and not exposed to flying and crawling insects ( Do you watch Embestigador on GMA 7?). And with regards to the taste, taste as good as the real thing with a real “ube”(purple yam) taste.
Mc Donalds Commercial: French Fries with Choco Fudge
Seen that new commercial of Mc Donalds? what I mean to say is the new Philippine TV commercial of Mc Donalds. I never thought that you can use the choco fudge topping as a dip. I always use catsup on dipping french fries but never on a chocolate syrup? yuck! but maybe the new generation are use to it. Kids do the weirdest things.

This rice crackers is a sure crowd pleaser and bet that you will definitely love. Why? First is the taste. Second is the price because I only taste this once when I bought a Japanese rice crackers but it cost much higher that this one. And the taste? Well it is delicious with a little spicy flavor.
