Captain Sid Butong Pakwan

Butong pakwan is a Filipino word for watermelon seeds. This snack has been a long time favorite of Filipinos. Can be bought on sari-sari stores on small packaging. The one I bought is 100 grams pack and the seeds are bigger than other watermelon seeds sold in groceries or supermarket. It’s also not very salty and the seeds easy to break by biting the edges until the seeds break in half. Just to remind you, eating this stuff needs good dentures.

    Galing sa China yung malalaking butong pakwan na nabibili natin. Pino-process lang dito sa pinas yung hilaw na butong pakwan.
